CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — In an exciting matchup on Tuesday evening, Johnathan Lawson led the Little Rock Trojans to a nail-biting 73-71 victory over Southeast Missouri State.

Lawson showcased his skills by scoring an impressive 28 points while also contributing seven rebounds for his team, which now holds a record of 10 wins and 7 losses overall, and 4 wins in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Isaiah Lewis supported the effort with 17 points, connecting on 6 of 13 shots from the field, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc and a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line. Tuongthach Gatkek also made a significant contribution, scoring 11 points with a shooting performance of 4 for 6 from the field and 3 out of 5 from the charity stripe.

For the Redhawks, Rob Martin stood out with a solid performance, scoring 19 points, alongside four assists and two steals. His efforts were complemented by Brendan Terry, who added 12 points and also recorded two steals.
