BEAUMONT, Texas – In an exciting matchup on Monday night, the New Orleans Privateers triumphed over the Lamar Cardinals, clinching a 68-62 victory that snapped a troubling 10-game losing streak for the team.

Cedquavious Hunter was a standout player for the Privateers, contributing 12 points along with three steals. His efforts were crucial in securing the win for New Orleans, now holding a record of 3-14 overall and 1-5 within the Southland Conference.
