The Roadrunners demonstrated resilience by overcoming a significant 22-point deficit in the second half to secure a thrilling 94-90 victory over Cal State Northridge.
Jones had an impressive shooting performance, making 14 of his 23 attempts, including 6 out of 11 from beyond the arc, while also converting 14 of 17 from the free-throw line. This effort marked him as the second-highest scorer in a Division-I game this season, trailing only Creighton’s Ryan Kalkbrenner, who netted 49 points earlier. Alongside Jones, Jaden Alexander contributed with 13 points, shooting 4 for 6 overall and making 1 of 3 from long distance. Kadar Waller also put in a solid performance, finishing the game with 11 points by shooting 3 of 4 from the field and perfecting all five of his free-throw attempts.
