Freeman not only dominated on the offensive end but also secured seven rebounds for the Wildcats, who now hold a record of 5-10 and are 2-0 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Tre Thomas supported the effort with 19 points, alongside five rebounds and three steals. Daniel Rouzan added eight points, albeit with a 3 of 9 shooting performance from the field.
On the opposite side, Kintavious Dozier led the Tigers with 17 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. Ernest Ross played a significant role for Grambling, posting 13 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and making contributions on defense with two steals and three blocks.
