Providence, R.I. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, Bensley Joseph made a significant impact coming off the bench, scoring 28 points to propel Providence to a 91-85 victory over Seton Hall.

Joseph also contributed five assists to the Friars’ success, who now hold a record of 9 wins and 8 losses, with a 3-3 standing in the Big East Conference. Corey Floyd Jr. showcased an efficient performance, adding 14 points while hitting 4 of 5 shots from the field and going a perfect 6 for 6 from the free-throw line. Additionally, Oswin Erhunmwunse played a valuable role, contributing 12 points, connecting on 6 of 7 attempts from the field, though he struggled at the line, going 0 for 3.
