PORTLAND, Ore.
— In an impressive showing on Saturday night, Terri Miller Jr. registered 17 points to help the Portland State Vikings secure a 75-63 victory over the Idaho Vandals.
Miller also contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds for his team, which now holds a record of 10-6 overall and 2-1 within the Big Sky Conference.
Tre-Vaughn Minott was pivotal for the Vikings, scoring 16 points without missing a shot, going a perfect 7 for 7 from the field, and also pulling down eight rebounds.
Jaylin Henderson chimed in with 14 points, showcasing his shooting skills by netting 5 of 10 attempts overall, including 50% from beyond the arc (2 of 4).
Henderson also had a solid outing at the free-throw line, converting 2 of 3 attempts, while securing six rebounds.
On the other side of the court, Jack Payne led the Idaho Vandals with 15 points, complemented by seven rebounds and two steals.
Kolton Mitchell also made his mark, contributing 14 points, alongside seven assists and two steals.
Tyler Linhardt added nine points to the Vandals’ effort.
