Taye Fields delivered a standout performance, contributing 23 points and grabbing 17 rebounds as North Alabama secured a commanding 92-64 win against Stetson on Saturday.
Fields showcased his defensive abilities as well, recording three steals, helping propel the Lions to an impressive record of 11 wins and 6 losses, coupled with a 3-1 standing in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
In addition to Fields’ remarkable showing, Will Soucie added 17 points, while Daniel Ortiz made an impact with 14 points, shooting 5 for 5 from the free-throw line and hitting 3 of 10 from beyond the arc.
On the other side, the Stetson Hatters, now at 4 wins and 13 losses and with a 2-2 conference record, saw Mehki Ellison lead the bench with 20 points.
Jamie Phillips Jr. and Josh Massey both contributed 11 points, with Massey also making his presence felt defensively by blocking two shots.
Overall, North Alabama displayed a balanced offensive attack, which ultimately secured their decisive victory over Stetson.
