Radford secured a victory against South Carolina Upstate with a final score of 80-67 on Saturday, thanks to a standout performance from Truth Harris, who contributed 18 points to the Highlanders’ success.
In addition to his scoring, Harris recorded six rebounds and three steals, showcasing his all-around play for Radford, which now holds a record of 12-6 and stands at 2-1 in the Big South Conference.
Fellow teammates also made vital contributions, with David Early scoring 14 points and Brandon Maclin adding 12 to the tally.
On the other side, the Spartans, whose record now stands at 5-13 and 1-2 in conference play, were led in scoring by Mister Dean, who netted 16 points.
Supporting him were Carmelo Adkins, who registered 12 points, along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Breylin Garcia, who also contributed 12 points alongside seven rebounds and two blocks.
The game highlighted both teams’ struggles and strengths as they continue their respective journeys through the season.
