PORTLAND, Oregon — The Portland State Vikings secured a narrow victory against the Eastern Washington Eagles on Thursday, edging them out with a final score of 64-59. Terri Miller Jr. was instrumental for Portland State, contributing 16 points along with seven rebounds in the match.

In addition to Miller’s performance, Tre-Vaughn Minott made a significant impact by scoring 13 points while also recording a double-double with 10 rebounds. He demonstrated defensive prowess with three steals and three blocks. Isaiah Johnson added to the team’s efforts with 11 points, shooting 4 of 10 from the field, including a 3-point attempt conversion of 1 for 3, but struggled at the free-throw line with only 2 out of 7 successful attempts. Johnson also contributed nine rebounds to the team’s total.

The Eagles were led by Mason Williams and Andrew Cook, both of whom scored 12 points. Williams further contributed six rebounds and two steals, while Cook showcased his defensive skills with two steals as well. Sebastian Hartmann chipped in by scoring 10 points.
