UC Davis secured a victory over CSU Fullerton with a score of 63-53 on Thursday night, thanks in part to Connor Sevilla’s impressive performance, who contributed 18 points to the team’s total.
Sevilla also grabbed five rebounds during the game, demonstrating his all-around skills for the Aggies, who now have a record of 9-7 and stand at 3-2 in the Big West Conference.
Ty Johnson also played a significant role, scoring 15 points and making three steals, while Pablo Tamba added 14 points with an efficient shooting performance, hitting five of nine field goals and four of five from the charity stripe.
On the opposing side, Zion Richardson was the Titans’ leading scorer with 13 points, along with pulling down six rebounds.
Donovan Oday contributed as well, finishing with 12 points, eight rebounds, and two steals.
Kobe Young chipped in with another solid contribution, recording nine points and 11 rebounds for CSU Fullerton, which now holds a record of 5-12 and sits at 0-5 in the conference.
Looking ahead, both teams are set to compete again on Saturday. UC Davis will welcome Long Beach State, while CSU Fullerton will face Hawaii at home.
