Langford nets 23 points in Albany’s 61-57 victory over New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. — On Thursday night, DeMarr Langford Jr. delivered a standout performance, scoring 23 points and leading Albany to a 61-57 victory against New Hampshire.
Langford was instrumental in securing the win, not only with his scoring but also by contributing 11 rebounds for the Great Danes, who improved their season record to 9-8, and their conference record to 1-1 in the America East.

Amar’e Marshall added to Albany’s offense, putting up 15 points while shooting 5 of 14 overall. His performance included struggles from beyond the arc, as he missed all three of his attempts from three-point range but managed to go 5 for 6 at the free-throw line.

For New Hampshire, Sami Pissis was a bright spot, recording 17 points and making two steals. Anthony McComb III also had a solid outing, contributing 16 points along with six rebounds. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, this game marked their ninth consecutive loss, leaving their season record at 2-15 and their conference record at 0-2.
