HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Ante Brzovic delivered an impressive performance, scoring 23 points, leading the Charleston Cougars to a 67-61 victory over the Hofstra Pride on Thursday evening.

Brzovic also contributed significantly on the boards, recording 11 rebounds. The Cougars improved their record to 13 wins and 3 losses overall, maintaining an undefeated status in the Coastal Athletic Association with three consecutive victories. Derrin Boyd added to the team’s efforts with 10 points, although he struggled slightly with his shooting—making 3 of 9 attempts from the field, including just 1 of 4 from beyond the arc, while connecting on 3 of his 4 free-throw shots.

For Hofstra, the standout player was Jean Aranguren, who put forth a commendable showing, accumulating 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. His teammate, Michael Graham, also had a notable game, contributing 16 points while securing 13 rebounds.
