INDIANAPOLIS — Jarvis Walker’s impressive performance, scoring 20 points, propelled IU Indianapolis to a decisive 95-61 victory over Detroit Mercy on Thursday evening.

Walker showcased his shooting skills by making 6 of his 11 attempts, with an outstanding 6 for 10 effort from three-point range, contributing significantly to the Jaguars’ success, who now hold a record of 6-12 overall and 2-5 in the Horizon League. Sean Craig contributed 19 points and made his presence felt on the boards with five rebounds while also dishing out seven assists. DeSean Goode also had a commendable outing, finishing with 15 points after going 7 of 11 from the field, though he struggled from the three-point line, missing all three attempts.
This victory was particularly noteworthy for the Jaguars as it ended a challenging seven-game losing streak.
On the other side, Grant Gondrezick II stood out for the Titans, scoring 21 points while registering five assists. Detroit Mercy’s current standing mirrors that of the Jaguars, with a record of 6-12 overall and 2-5 in the Horizon League.
