ORONO, Maine — Kellen Tynes shone brightly in Maine’s 82-71 victory over Binghamton on Thursday evening with an impressive performance of 25 points.

In addition to his scoring prowess, Tynes showcased his all-around skills by adding six assists and six steals, contributing significantly to the Black Bears’ successful game, which boosted their record to 9-8 overall and 1-1 in the America East Conference. AJ Lopez also had a remarkable outing, scoring 21 points while shooting an efficient 7 of 11 from the field, which included 4 from 6 behind the three-point line, as well as hitting 3 of 4 free throws. Quion Burns chipped in with 10 points, shooting 4 for 8 overall and landing 2 of 3 from three-point range.
