BOSTON — In a closely contested game, Boston University triumphed over American with a score of 60-54 on Wednesday night, largely thanks to the efforts of Michael McNair, who contributed 20 points.
McNair showcased his shooting skills, successfully landing 6 of his 11 attempts from the field, which included 4 from beyond the arc (4 for 8), and making 4 out of 5 free throws. His performance was instrumental for the Terriers, who now hold an 8-8 overall record and stand at 2-1 in the Patriot League. Kyrone Alexander also made a significant impact on the game, scoring 15 points. Alexander’s shooting statistics included 6 of 12 from the field and 1 for 3 from three-point territory, along with 2 out of 5 from the foul line. He also contributed seven rebounds to the team’s effort.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Matt Rogers, who appeared dominant on the court, finishing with 22 points and gathering six rebounds. Additional support came from Elijah Stephens, who scored 12 points and recorded two steals, while Greg Jones chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.
