PITTSBURGH — Tre Dinkins shined with a notable performance, contributing 26 points as Duquesne edged past Saint Joseph’s with a score of 85-81 in a thrilling overtime matchup on Wednesday night.

Dinkins showcased his shooting skills, making 10 of his 20 attempts from the floor, including 4 of 12 from three-point territory, helping the Dukes improve their season record to 7-9 and 2-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Teammate David Dixon made a crucial 3-pointer with just 4.8 seconds left in overtime, finishing the game with 17 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks. Additionally, Cam Crawford added to the effort with 13 points, hitting 3 of 8 from the field and going a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line.

For the Hawks, Rasheer Fleming stood out, securing a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds alongside four assists and two steals. His performance guided Saint Joseph’s to a record of 10-6 and 2-2 in the conference.
