LIV Golf completes its 2025 calendar by adding last three events that will clash with PGA Tour dates.

LIV Golf has announced it will conclude its 2025 season with three events in the United States, coinciding with the FedEx Cup playoffs, a notable change from previous scheduling. The Saudi-backed league released its updated calendar on Tuesday, which features new venues in Florida, Virginia, and Michigan, along with a relocation of its Mexico event to a course that previously hosted a World Golf Championship in Mexico City.

The season is set to kick off on February 6 in Saudi Arabia, spanning 14 tournaments, with six of those held in the U.S.—one fewer than the previous year. A significant alteration in the calendar is the timing of the final events; the conclusion of the 2024 season took place in September, while for 2025, the last three tournaments will take place alongside the PGA Tour’s postseason, which consists of three tournaments.

The tour will begin in Bolingbrook, Illinois at Bolingbrook Golf Club from August 8-10, aligning with the FedEx St. Jude Championship held in Memphis, Tennessee. Subsequently, the action shifts to The Club at Chatham Hills in Indianapolis from August 15-17, coinciding with the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship at Caves Valley near Baltimore.

The LIV Team Championship will occur in Michigan during the same timeframe as the Tour Championship in Atlanta. This finale will take place at The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, a newly established course roughly half an hour from Detroit.

Additionally, LIV Golf has included a tournament at Trump National Doral, situated near Miami, scheduled for a week prior to the Masters, as well as an event at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia the week before the U.S. Open. This venue has a distinguished history, having hosted the Solheim Cup last year and the Presidents Cup on three occasions.

In a change from earlier plans, LIV will begin its season at Chapultepec Golf Club in Mexico City instead of the Mayakoba resort. This is a site that has hosted a World Golf Championship from 2017 to 2020 and saw winners such as Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Patrick Reed during that time.

As a result of the revised schedule, LIV Golf will no longer be visiting Las Vegas, The Greenbrier in West Virginia, or Nashville, Tennessee in the U.S. lineup for the upcoming season.
