Both players had been categorized as questionable on the injury report leading up to a crucial game, which would determine the NFC North champion and the top seed in the conference playoffs, with the losing team ending up with the No. 5 seed.

Minnesota, on the other hand, was without edge rusher Patrick Jones, who was ruled out due to a knee injury incurred last week from a low block delivered by Green Bay tight end Tucker Kraft.
This absence of Jones places greater emphasis on rookie Dallas Turner as he steps up to support Pro Bowl outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel in the Vikings’ defense.
