LEWISBURG, Pa. — Noah Williamson contributed a standout performance with 20 points as Bucknell triumphed over Colgate with a score of 66-60 on Sunday.
Alongside his scoring, Williamson also recorded 10 rebounds for the Bison, who improved to 5-10 overall and 1-1 in the Patriot League. Elvin Edmonds IV was also notable, adding 13 points and pulling down five rebounds, while Ruot Bijiek finished with 10 points, shooting 4 for 8 and 2 for 4 from three-point range. This win marked a significant halt to an eight-game losing streak for Bucknell.

For Colgate, who stands at 4-11 overall and 1-1 in the league, Sam Wright was the team’s leading scorer with 16 points. Jeff Woodward supported the effort with 12 points and six rebounds, and Jalen Cox also contributed with 12 points and six assists during the match.

In the first half, Williamson tallied seven points, helping Bucknell secure a narrow 23-19 lead at the intermission. The pivotal moment of the game came with just over four minutes left in the second half when Williamson sank a 3-pointer, giving Bucknell a crucial lead of 57-54 that they held onto until the final whistle.

Both teams are set to return to the court on Wednesday, with Bucknell preparing to host Lafayette and Colgate facing off against Lehigh.
