Pigge scores 15 to guide Harvard to a 71-65 victory over Bowdoin

BOSTON — In a closely matched game, Harvard managed to secure a 71-65 victory against Bowdoin, a Division-III team, on Sunday.
Chandler Pigge played a key role for the Crimson, contributing 15 points and grabbing five rebounds.
Robert Hinton also had a significant impact, scoring 13 points with an efficient shooting performance of 5 for 9 from the floor, which included two successful 3-point attempts out of three.
Austin Hunt added to the team’s success by scoring 12 points; he shot 5 for 10 overall but struggled from long range, missing all three of his 3-point attempts.
Hunt also pulled down nine rebounds and converted two of his four free throws.

On theother side, Bowdoin was led by Ray Cuevas, who delivered an impressive performance with 22 points.
James McGowan and Afamdi Achufusi also contributed to the Polar Bears’ efforts, scoring 11 and nine points, respectively.

Looking ahead, Harvard’s next game will be against Princeton on Saturday, as they continue their season with hopes of improving their record.
