RALEIGH, N.C. — Saniya Rivers delivered an impressive performance, scoring 23 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while Zoe Brooks also added a double-double as the No. 22 N.C. State Wolfpack decisively defeated Boston College 91-52 on Sunday, marking their seventh consecutive win.

Rivers contributed throughout the game with four assists and four steals, showing her all-around skills. Brooks supported her team with 11 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. In addition, four other players from N.C. State reached double-digit points, including Aziaha James with 17 points, Madison Hayes with 13, Devyn Quigley with 11 off the bench, and Tylda Trygger who contributed 10 points.

Rivers started strong, scoring both a jumper and a three-pointer to net nine points by the end of the first quarter. The Wolfpack dominated with a 68% shooting accuracy, building a lead of 28-9 as they entered the second quarter.

On the other hand, Boston College struggled, managing to make only four shots in the opening quarter and five in the second. N.C. State, despite cooling off to 45% shooting in the second quarter, still led 50-27 by halftime.

Continuing their momentum, the Wolfpack scored another 28 points in the third quarter. At one point, they converted 7 out of 8 shots in a stretch and succeeded on 11 free throws during that period. Heading into the fourth, they had a commanding lead of 78-42, with T’yana Todd being the only Boston College player to score in the final four minutes of the third, finishing with a total of 20 points.

N.C. State’s lead ballooned to 39 points on three separate occasions during the fourth quarter, with Quigley’s jumper at 2:25 remaining sealing that margin as the last points of the game.

Looking ahead, the Wolfpack will travel to face No. 20 California on Thursday, while Boston College prepares for a contest against No. 17 North Carolina on Sunday.
