HONOLULU — Gytis Nemeiksa was the standout performer for Hawaii, scoring 19 points in their Sunday matchup against Cal Poly, leading the Rainbow Warriors to a 68-55 victory.

In addition to his scoring, Nemeiksa contributed significantly on the boards, collecting nine rebounds for the team, which improved their record to 9-5 overall and 1-2 within the Big West Conference. Tom Beattie also made a notable contribution with 15 points, having an efficient shooting night with 6 of 9 from the field. Tanner Christensen rounded out the scoring with 11 points, shooting 4 of 5 from the field and also grabbing 10 rebounds, demonstrating his impact on both ends of the court.

On the other side, Cal Poly struggled with their performance, falling to 6-10 for the season and remaining winless in conference play at 0-4. Owen Koonce emerged as their top scorer, finishing the game with 15 points.
