FORT WORTH, Texas – In a commanding performance on Saturday night, Madison Conner led the way for the No. 11 TCU women’s basketball team, contributing 29 points while Sedona Prince added 21 points, helping the Horned Frogs secure an 81-66 win over Cincinnati.

With this victory, TCU has achieved a remarkable milestone, boasting a record of 15-1 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the Big 12 Conference, marking the best start in the history of the program.

Conner delivered an impressive performance, shooting 8 of 15 from the field, including 6 of 9 from beyond the arc, while also dishing out seven assists. This game marked the 15th occasion in her career that she has made five or more three-pointers. Prince showcased her skills by hitting 9 of 12 shots from the floor and securing six rebounds. Agnes Emma-Nnopu also made contributions, finishing with 10 points.

For Cincinnati, Jillian Hayes was the standout player, scoring 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Reagan Jackson added a further 10 points to the Bearcats’ efforts.

In the third quarter, Conner’s two three-pointers helped TCU outscore Cincinnati 23-12, establishing a comfortable 64-47 advantage. However, Cincinnati responded in the fourth quarter with a 19-9 run, narrowing the gap to 73-66 with just over four minutes remaining. Conner then delivered a crucial three-pointer, and Cincinnati was unable to convert on their final six attempts from the field.

Looking ahead, TCU aims to extend their winning streak to seven games as they prepare for a road match against Kansas on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cincinnati will be back in action, hosting Oklahoma State on Wednesday.
