HARRISONBURG, Va. — On Saturday night, Xavier Brown contributed significantly to James Madison’s 67-62 win against Arkansas State, scoring 18 points.

In addition to his scoring, Brown collected five rebounds, helping the Dukes improve their record to 9-6 overall and 2-1 in the Sun Belt Conference. Elijah Hutchins-Everett was another key player for James Madison with 17 points and six rebounds. Bryce Lindsay added eight points to the scoreline, shooting 2 of 6 from the field and making two out of five attempts from beyond the arc.

The Red Wolves, on the other hand, had their scoring led by Taryn Todd, who delivered a standout performance with 26 points. Joseph Pinion joined in offensively with 15 points, while also contributing two steals and two blocks. Rashaud Marshall added to the team’s efforts with 10 points.
