HARRISONBURG, Va. — On Saturday night, Xavier Brown contributed significantly to James Madison’s 67-62 win against Arkansas State, scoring 18 points.

In addition to his scoring, Brown collected five rebounds, helping the Dukes improve their record to 9-6 overall and 2-1 in the Sun Belt Conference. Elijah Hutchins-Everett was another key player for James Madison with 17 points and six rebounds. Bryce Lindsay added eight points to the scoreline, shooting 2 of 6 from the field and making two out of five attempts from beyond the arc.

The Red Wolves, on the other hand, had their scoring led by Taryn Todd, who delivered a standout performance with 26 points.
