CLEVELAND — In an impressive display of skill, Tahj Staveskie led Cleveland State to a 67-61 victory over IU Indianapolis on Saturday night, marking the team’s sixth consecutive win.
Staveskie contributed significantly to the team’s success by scoring 20 points and demonstrating accurate shooting, finishing with 6 of 12 from the field, including a strong 4 for 8 from beyond the arc. Additionally, he was perfect from the free-throw line, making all four attempts. Cleveland State, now sporting a record of 10-6 overall and 4-1 in the Horizon League, saw notable contributions from Tevin Smith, who added 15 points along with seven rebounds, and Dylan Arnett, who also chipped in 15 points.
