Nelson’s contribution didn’t stop at points; he also secured nine rebounds for the Eagles, who now hold a record of 7-6 and have begun their Mid-American Conference season with a win. Jalin Billingsley was another key player, contributing 15 points while showcasing an efficient shooting performance, hitting 5 of 7 attempts from the field and 4 of 8 from the free-throw line, while also grabbing five rebounds.
