CHARLESTON, S.C. — In a thrilling matchup on Saturday, Bash Wieland led the way, scoring 21 points as Chattanooga triumphed over The Citadel with an 81-68 finish.
Wieland also contributed five rebounds to the team’s effort, helping the Mocs improve their record to 9-6 overall and 1-1 in the Southern Conference.
Trey Bonham supported the team with 12 points and matched Wieland’s five rebounds, while Sean Cusano added another 11 points to the scoreboard.
On the other side, Brody Fox stood out for the Bulldogs, also finishing with 21 points alongside two steals. The Citadel’s performance was bolstered by Sola Adebisi, who recorded 12 points and captured nine rebounds. Additionally, John Adams scored eight points for the Bulldogs as they sought to break their losing streak.
