LORETTO, Pa. — Central Connecticut State secured a 74-59 victory over Saint Francis (PA) on Friday night, highlighted by a strong performance from Jordan Jones, who scored 26 points.

Jones showcased his shooting prowess by making 11 of 15 attempts from the floor and hitting 4 out of 7 from long range, contributing significantly to his team’s success. Devin Haid also had a noteworthy game, putting up 18 points with a shooting line of 6 for 15, including 1 for 6 from three-point territory, while also making all five of his free throws and grabbing eight rebounds. Abdul Momoh added nine points, shooting 2 of 4 from the field and hitting 5 of 6 from the charity stripe.

On the opposing side, Valentino Pinedo led the Red Flash with 12 points and eight rebounds, while his teammate Riley Parker matched that scoring with another 12 points. Bobby Rosenberger III contributed eight points and six rebounds in a well-rounded effort for Saint Francis (PA).

Both teams are set to match up again on Sunday, with Central Connecticut State heading to Mercyhurst and Saint Francis (PA) preparing to face Stonehill at home.
