NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — In a strong showing, Devon Savage led the Merrimack Warriors to a 67-54 victory over the Fairfield Stags during Friday’s matchup.
Savage contributed significantly to the team’s success with a total of 21 points, along with five rebounds, helping Merrimack improve their record to 6-8 and maintain a positive trajectory in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at 3-0.

Adam Clark also made a notable impact on the game, scoring 18 points while hitting 7 of his 19 attempts from the field and connecting 4 out of 5 from the free-throw line. He also provided five assists that contributed to the team’s overall performance.

Another key player for Merrimack was Bryan Etumnu, who concluded the game with 10 points, shooting effectively by going 5 for 8 from the field. In addition to his scoring, he showcased his defensive skills by recording three steals and blocking three shots.

For the Stags, Prophet Johnson managed to post 12 points and secured six rebounds, matching points with teammate Braden Sparks, who also contributed 12 to the scoreboard. Isaac Munkadi added nine points while grabbing six rebounds, helping Fairfield keep the game competitive at a score of 5-9 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

Both teams are set to continue their seasons with upcoming matches next Friday. Merrimack will visit Sacred Heart while Fairfield will face Iona in a home game.
