STOCKTON, California — Malik Thomas led the San Francisco Dons to an 89-81 triumph over the Pacific Tigers on Thursday night, contributing a total of 24 points.
Thomas demonstrated impressive shooting skills, making 8 of 14 attempts from the field, including 2 of 6 from three-point range, as well as finishing 6 of 7 at the charity stripe. This victory improved the Dons’ record to 13 wins and 3 losses, with a perfect 3-0 in the West Coast Conference.
Marcus Williams was also a standout for San Francisco, adding 22 points to the scoreboard. He shot 5 of 13 overall, with a notable 4 of 8 from beyond the arc, while also showcasing his playmaking abilities with seven assists alongside three steals. Carlton Linguard contributed to the team’s efforts, scoring 13 points on 5 of 8 shooting, which included a pair of three-pointers.
For the Tigers, who are now struggling with a record of 5-12 and have lost eight consecutive games, Elijah Fisher emerged as the top performer, recording 25 points and two steals. Lamar Washington supported his team with 18 points, while Jefferson Koulibaly added 14 points.
In the latter part of the game, Williams stepped up significantly, scoring 17 points during crucial moments of the second half, securing an eight-point lead for San Francisco by the final buzzer.
