BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday night, Cal State Bakersfield secured a 75-64 victory over UC Davis, propelled by standout performances from several players.

CJ Hardy was a key contributor for the Roadrunners, scoring 20 points and dishing out five assists. With this win, Bakersfield improved its record to 7-8 overall and 1-2 in the Big West Conference.

Marvin McGhee also had a notable performance, scoring 14 points while shooting 40% from the field, including two successful three-pointers and a perfect performance at the free-throw line, making all four attempts. Jemel Jones contributed 13 points, going 5 for 11 on field goal attempts.
