MINNEAPOLIS — The Boston Celtics will be without Jaylen Brown for their upcoming matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night due to a right shoulder strain.
Currently, Brown is contributing significantly to the team’s performance, boasting averages of 24.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. His injury occurred during the Celtics’ recent commanding victory against the Toronto Raptors in Toronto on Tuesday. Coach Joe Mazzulla indicated that Brown’s condition will be assessed on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis will also be sitting out on Thursday, marking his fourth consecutive game missed due to an ankle sprain. The absence of both players is expected to impact the team’s lineup as they face the Timberwolves.
