PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns welcomed back All-Star Devin Booker for their matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night, following a five-game absence due to a left groin strain.

Booker last took the court on December 19 during a defeat against the Indiana Pacers. During his time on the sidelines, the Suns struggled, managing to secure only one victory out of the five games played without him. This season, Booker has been a significant contributor, averaging 25.1 points and 6.4 assists per game.

Meanwhile, the Suns will be without starting center Jusuf Nurkic, who is currently serving a three-game suspension due to his involvement in an altercation during last week’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks.

On the opposing side, the Grizzlies are facing their own challenges as guard Ja Morant is sidelined indefinitely with a right shoulder strain. Additionally, rookie center Zach Edey is also out, as he is currently in concussion protocol.

Entering this game, Memphis holds an impressive 22-11 record, placing them second in the Western Conference standings. In contrast, the Suns are struggling at 15-16, finding themselves tied for 10th in the West.
