Kaleb Banks was the standout player for Tulane, contributing a significant 21 points along with five rebounds. His performance played a crucial role in the Green Wave improving their record to 7-7. Rowan Brumbaugh also had an impressive outing, scoring 19 points while completing six of his 14 shot attempts. He struggled somewhat from beyond the arc, hitting just one of five attempts, but made up for it by going six for nine from the free-throw line. Asher Woods added to the offense with 16 points, shooting at an efficient rate of six from eleven, which included making one of his three attempts from three-point range, and he was perfect from the charity stripe, hitting all three free throws.
On the other side, the 49ers’ Nik Graves finished the game with 14 points, along with four assists, while Robert Braswell contributed ten points. Dean Reiber had a near double-double with nine points and nine rebounds, though it wasn’t enough to secure a win for Charlotte, who also holds a record of 7-7.
Banks set the pace in the opening half by putting up nine points, aiding in putting Tulane ahead 34-27 by halftime. After the break, it was Brumbaugh who took charge offensively for Tulane, leading the team with 14 points in the second half.
