Council had an impressive performance, contributing 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds for his team (13-1, 1-0 in the Atlantic 10 Conference). Teammate Noel Brown matched Council’s scoring output, also netting 20 points with an efficient shooting display, hitting 8 out of 13 field goal attempts and converting all four of his free throws.
