— In an impressive display on the court, Emmett Marquardt led the way for Eastern Washington with a solid performance, contributing 17 points in their matchup against Eastern Oregon, which concluded with a score of 89-63 on Monday night.
The Eagles, now holding a record of 4-9, saw Marquardt also grab seven rebounds. Andrew Cook made his presence felt as well, scoring 14 points while also contributing five rebounds and five assists to the team’s efforts. Sebastian Hartmann proved effective from the field, hitting 6 of 9 shots, including two three-pointers, to also end the night with 14 points.
For Eastern Oregon, Garrett Hawkes was the standout player, leading his team with 14 points. Brennen Newsom provided additional support by scoring 10 points, while James Bodily contributed nine points along with three steals, helping the Mountaineers put up a competitive fight.
