ASHEVILLE, N.C. — In a commanding performance, UNC Asheville triumphed over Columbia International, an NAIA team, with a final score of 95-53 on Monday evening.
Jordan Marsh was a standout for the Bulldogs, contributing significantly to the win with 20 points, shooting 9 of 14 overall, including 2 of 5 in three-point attempts.
Josh Banks also played a key role, scoring 16 points while making 4 of 8 field goals, including 2 from beyond the arc, and converting 6 out of 8 free throws.
Toyaz Solomon completed the solid performance for Asheville with 12 points, shooting 6 of 10 from the floor, and he added a notable 11 rebounds to his stat line.
On the other side, Christian Howard led Columbia International with 11 points, while teammate Will Kelly added 10 points. Brandon Hunt chipped in with 9 points during the game as well.
