Brendan Coyle, Justice Shoats, and Gavin Doty each netted 16 points to lead Siena to an 83-77 victory over Cornell in a thrilling matchup held on Monday night in Ithaca, New York.
Doty’s performance was notable not just for his scoring, but also for his contribution on the boards, where he pulled down eight rebounds, helping the Saints improve their record to 6-7.
Coyle showcased his shooting prowess by connecting on 4 of 7 attempts from three-point range and converting 4 of 5 from the free-throw line.
Meanwhile, Shoats had an impactful game, hitting 4 of 10 from the field and sinking 8 of 13 at the charity stripe, while also dishing out 10 assists to facilitate his teammates’ scoring opportunities.
