MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — In a commanding performance on Monday, Ugnius Jarusevicius led Central Michigan to an emphatic 85-39 victory over Cleary, contributing significantly to the team’s success with a total of 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
Central Michigan, boasting a record of 6-6, saw strong performances from multiple players. Bryan Ndjonga showcased his shooting skills, finishing the game with 14 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting effort from the floor, while also recording four blocks. Kyler Vanderjagt also added to the team’s scoring, netting 14 points after hitting 7 of his 12 shots, despite struggling from beyond the arc with no successful three-point attempts.
For Cleary, the leading scorer was Levi McKenzie, who managed to put up 10 points during the contest.
Jarusevicius was pivotal in the first half, leading the Chippewas with eight points that helped them to a substantial 40-16 lead at halftime.
