MIAMI — Florida International University secured a solid victory against Utah Tech with a score of 80-66 on Monday, thanks in part to the impressive performance of Travis Gray, who tallied 15 points during the match.
Gray contributed significantly on both ends of the court, adding five rebounds and three steals to his scoring tally. Asim Jones was also a key player for the Panthers (6-7), contributing 14 points while showing accuracy with 5 of 9 shooting and converting 3 of 4 from the free-throw line. In addition, he showcased his playmaking ability with seven assists. Jonathan Aybar followed closely behind, scoring 13 points along with a shooting performance of 5 of 9 from the floor and 3 of 6 from the charity stripe.
