CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — On Sunday, the Austin Peay Governors achieved a commanding 93-46 win against Brescia, largely thanks to Tate McCubbin, who scored 20 points.
McCubbin also made a notable contribution on the boards, securing eight rebounds for the team, which improved their season record to 5-8.
Alongside him, Anton Brookshire added 15 points to the scoreboard, hitting five of his 13 attempts, including five out of 12 from beyond the arc.
Additionally, Isaac Haney efficiently netted 14 points, going five for nine from the field and sinking four of his eight three-point attempts.
This victory broke a frustrating six-game losing streak for the Governors.
On the opposing side, Damian Garcia emerged as the leading scorer for the Bearcats, finishing the game with 17 points.
