TULSA, Okla. — In an impressive display of basketball, the Golden Hurricane of Tulsa defeated Southwestern Christian, an NAIA team, with a resounding score of 96-63 on Saturday night.
Leading the charge for Tulsa, Tyshawn Archie contributed significantly to the victory with 18 points and five rebounds. He was supported by Ian Smikle, who added 15 points, shooting 6 for 7 from the field and going 3 for 4 at the free-throw line. Keaston Willis also had a solid performance, registering 14 points while making 4 out of 11 attempts, including 4 from 8 beyond the three-point line.
For Southwestern Christian, Deondre Dunn was the standout, finishing the game with 17 points. Seth Wilkins contributed 10 points and three steals, while Kolby Vestal chipped in with eight points.
