FORT COLLINS, Colo. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday, New Mexico triumphed over Colorado State with a final score of 76-68, showcasing a solid performance from Mustapha Amzil, who contributed 14 points to his team’s success.

Amzil was not alone in his efforts, as he also pulled down five rebounds for the Lobos, who now hold a record of 10-3 overall and 2-0 in the Mountain West Conference. Donovan Dent matched Amzil’s scoring, finishing the game with 14 points while hitting 7 of his 16 attempts from the field, and played a pivotal role with six assists. C.J. Noland also made a significant impact, scoring 11 points on an efficient 5-of-7 shooting.

On the other hand, Nique Clifford led the charge for the Rams, finishing with an impressive stat line that included 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
