SOUTH BEND, Ind. — On Sunday night, Tae Davis led the way for Notre Dame with a standout performance, scoring 24 points—12 in each half—as the Fighting Irish secured a commanding 91-62 win over Le Moyne.

Davis displayed his offensive skill, shooting 6 for 10 from the field and making an impressive 12 of 14 shots from the free-throw line. He also contributed significantly on the boards, collecting six rebounds. The victory improved Notre Dame’s record to 7-5, with a strong home performance putting them at 6-1 at their own court.

Braeden Shrewsberry added to the team’s success with 16 points, while Logan Imes chipped in 11 points off the bench as well. For Le Moyne, Dwayne Koroma stood out, leading his team with 22 points on an exceptional 9-for-11 shooting display, along with grabbing eight rebounds. Robby Carmody made a solid impact at the foul line, hitting all eight of his free throw attempts for a total of 13 points, while AJ Dancler rounded out the scoring with 10 points.

The first half saw Notre Dame take control early, with Shrewsberry and Davis both contributing to a strong start. Davis began the scoring with a pair of free throws and quickly added a three-point play, which set the pace as the Fighting Irish jumped ahead 5-0 and maintained the lead throughout the game. Koroma was a bright spot for the Dolphins, scoring half of his team’s first-half points with a sharp shooting display, going 6-for-7 before the break. By halftime, Notre Dame had opened up a comfortable 49-30 lead.

As the second half commenced, Davis continued to assert his dominance by scoring the initial four points. Kebba Njie followed soon after with a three-pointer, which quickly widened Notre Dame’s lead to 25 just two minutes into the half.

Overall, Notre Dame shot 48% from the field, including 9 of 24 from three-point territory (38%) and converted 26 of their 32 free throw attempts (81%). In contrast, Le Moyne’s shooting percentages were lower, hitting 37% from the field, with 7 of 26 from beyond the arc and 13 of 16 from the foul line.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame will take a break before returning to action on New Year’s Eve for an Atlantic Coast Conference clash against Georgia Tech. Meanwhile, Le Moyne is set to face Niagara next Sunday.
