PHOENIX — Grand Canyon University’s basketball team secured a thrilling victory over Saint Louis on Sunday night, winning 73-72 with a last-second jump shot from Lok Wur. Wur’s clutch shot, making it in the final second of the game, marked a standout moment for the Antelopes.
Collin Moore was instrumental in the win, scoring 20 points, along with contributing seven rebounds and three blocks for Grand Canyon, now sporting an 8-4 record. Rayshon Harrison also had a noteworthy performance, netting 16 points and shooting 54.5% from the field (6 for 11), including a solid 66.7% from beyond the arc with four 3-pointers. JaKobe Coles chipped in with 11 points, while Wur added six crucial points coming off the bench.
On the opposing side, the Billikens (6-6) were led by Isaiah Swope, who recorded 17 points and delivered eight assists throughout the game. Kalu Anya supported the effort with 12 points, eight rebounds, and three steals, while Robbie Avila rounded out the squad’s performance with 11 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Harrison was a force in the first half, scoring 12 of his points and helping Grand Canyon take a narrow lead at halftime with a score of 37-32. In the second half, Moore stepped up to lead the team with 14 points, ensuring the Antelopes maintained their momentum to clinch the victory.
