LAFAYETTE, La. — In a competitive matchup on Sunday, Sincere Parker was instrumental in guiding McNeese to a 64-56 victory over Louisiana, scoring a total of 22 points.
Parker’s effort on the court extended beyond scoring as he also grabbed five rebounds for the Cowboys, who now hold a record of 6-5 this season.
Quadir Copeland played a significant role as well, contributing 12 points while successfully making half of his 12 attempts from the field. Meanwhile, Christian Shumate added to the team’s efforts with 11 points, achieving an impressive shooting performance of 4 out of 8 from the field, and capped it off by making all three of his free-throw attempts.
For the Ragin’ Cajuns, Mostapha El Moutaouakkil was the standout performer, leading his team with 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.
In support, Kentrell Garnett put up 13 points, while Brandon Hardy chipped in with 10 points, though their combined contributions were not enough to secure a win against the Cowboys.
