Tylan Pope emerged as a standout player, contributing 23 points to the Bobcats’ victory. Not only did he excel in scoring, but he also recorded five rebounds and five blocks, bolstering his team’s defensive efforts. The Bobcats improved their record to 8-4 overall and 1-0 in the Sun Belt Conference with this win.

Joining Pope in the scoring was Tyler Morgan, who put up 19 points, shooting 7 of 13 from the field. Morgan was particularly effective from long range, making two of his four attempts beyond the arc, and he was perfect from the free-throw line, sinking all three of his attempts. He also contributed significantly on the boards, snagging 10 rebounds. Kaden Gumbs also played a noteworthy role, finishing with 12 points.
