BOSTON — In a commanding performance, Pjay Smith Jr. scored 25 points leading Furman to a 77-63 victory over Harvard on Saturday.
Smith contributed not only with his scoring but also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists, helping the Paladins improve their season record to 12-1.
Nick Anderson added to the team’s efforts by scoring 16 points, hitting 5 of his 13 shots from the field, including two successful three-point attempts out of eight.
He also made four out of five free throws. Garrett Hien made his mark with 10 points, converting five of his nine attempts.
For the Crimson, Chandler Pigge led the scoring charge with 16 points, complementing his total with nine rebounds and three steals.
Thomas Batties II also made a valuable contribution, scoring 14 points and securing six rebounds.
The match showcased notable performances on both sides, but ultimately, Furman’s consistent scoring and strong defense allowed them to maintain control and secure the win.
