TROY, Ala. — In their Sun Belt Conference opener, Troy emerged victorious over Georgia State with a score of 77-57, powered by the impressive performance of Myles Rigsby, who contributed 22 points to the team’s success.

Rigsby showcased his shooting skills, connecting on 6 out of 10 attempts from the floor, including a solid 3 for 5 from beyond the arc, and completed 7 of 10 free throws. The Trojans, now with an 8-4 record, also benefited from Tayton Conerway’s contribution of 13 points, where he displayed an efficient shooting performance by hitting 5 of 7 shots, including one 3-pointer. Additionally, Conerway facilitated play with five assists and made his presence felt defensively with three steals.
