POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — In an exciting game on Saturday, the Marist Red Foxes triumphed in a closely contested overtime battle against UMBC, finishing with a score of 76-73. Elijah Lewis played a crucial role in securing the victory, contributing 17 points and gathering six rebounds for the Red Foxes, who now hold an impressive record of 8-2 for the season.

Josh Pascarelli also made a significant contribution, scoring 16 points while hitting six of his 14 attempts, including two out of six from beyond the arc. Jadin Collins added to the team’s success with a solid performance, scoring 14 points and achieving an efficient shooting rate of 7 for 11 from the field.

On the other side, the UMBC Retrievers, now sitting at a 7-7 record, were led in scoring by Bryce Johnson, who had a standout performance with 23 points. Additionally, he recorded seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals, showcasing his all-around abilities on the court. Marcus Banks supported the effort with 15 points, while Louie Jordan chipped in with nine points to help keep the game competitive.
